After eleven years of hard wear from

They came out very quickly for an estimate and answered all of the
questions that we had about refinishing our hardwood floors. They
worked with our schedule so that we could arrange to be out of the
house during the refinishing process. They came out a few days before
they were scheduled to get started and we picked out a finish color
together. Then, we gave them a key to our house and went on a short
vacation. When we got home, our hardwood floors looked almost like
they did when our house was new. We were very pleased with their work

We had our kitchen hardwood floors
redone by SWF. They arrived on-time, were friendly, worked quickly
and finished the job in a timely manner. The only major disruption
was having to take the cats away from the home for one night. Our
kitchen floor looks like new and the Glitsa wood floor cleaning system
is awesome!

Our new floor was installed by Superior
Hardwood Floors. We salvaged approximately 250 square feet of two
inch, antique heart-wood pine from a parsonage, but had been unable
to locate enough matching wood to complete our 850 square foot floor.
Don and Sheryl suggested using a contrasting wood and located a
quantity of three inch hickory. Don created a unique design with
two 9x11 foot areas set in the pine in the center of the living
and dining areas to look like area rugs. He used the hickory laid
the opposite direction as borders. The design defines each living
area without restricting furniture placement. The adjoining bathroom
was also laid with the antique pine. Superior’s team paid
special attention to the salvaged wood to ensure that the 9x11 areas
were laid in full strips without any patches needed.
Great care was taken in choosing the stain colors to match our
cabinets and furniture. The pine was stained to match the darker
colors of the surrounding oak cabinetry, while the hickory was stained
a lighter color to bring out the contrasting lighter tones. The
floor was given four coats of finish to protect the high traffic
areas. The design, care and workmanship combined to make a really
beautiful and impressive floor that will last for many, many years.
